    Impact : Intermittent connectivity drops can be expected, but all care will be taken to filter traffic 15 minutes prior to starting maintenance on a router to automatically re-route traffic to alternative paths.



    Risk : Medium



    Expected Downtime : 1-2 minutes.

  • Starting: 05-29-2025

    Overview : Engineers will be performing upgrades on the primary set of Customer Edge (CE) Routers.



    Impact : Intermittent connectivity drops can be expected, but all care will be taken to automatically fail-over services to alternative CE Router.



    Risk : Medium



    Expected Downtime : 5-10 minutes

    Services: YAXXA APN - MTN YAXXA APN - Telkom YAXXA APN - Vodacom

  • Starting: 05-23-2025

    Overview : Technicians and the Porta Software Vendor will be performing a release upgrade on the Porta voice platform.



    Status: Stage 1 stage configuration are being applied



    Impact : There will be sporadic interruptions of services during the maintenance window. Connectivity services will only be affected if their live connection drops as this maintenance affects authentication on these services.



    Risk : High



    Expected Downtime : 15 minutes - 30 minutes

Siliconsky is currently experiencing an issue with internet breakout from their Isando environment.

Their technical team is actively working to resolve the issue. At this stage, no service impact is expected, as all services are running on redundant infrastructure.

Dear Customer,

We would like to inform you that Teraco has scheduled Major Electrical Maintenance at the JB1 East Isando Data Centre, affecting the TEM3 A Feed infrastructure.

Affected Areas:
Data Centre 4 (including CH3)

Data Centre 5

Service Impact:

The TEM3 MLV A Feed will be switched off and isolated during the maintenance window.

The TEM3 MLV B Feed will remain available; however, no redundancy will be in place during this period.

Yaxxa and its service providers are performing all necessary checks to ensure service continuity. As all services are fully redundant, no service impact is anticipated during the maintenance.

We are aware of an outage affecting clients using Frogfoot Connectivity. This looks to be caused by power maintenance being done in Teraco Isando. Frogfoot and Teraco Engineeres are currently investigating and will revert back ASAP.

Omni.Yaxxa - Webserver outage

Issue: Engineers are currently investigating an error where clients are unable to Access the Omni Environment due to load on the Webserver caused by API abuse.

Identified : the issue has been found and action has been taken to resolve the issue.

The Team is doing checks currently to make sure all services are running.
